Australian Web3 gaming company Immutable announced that it will not face action from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), despite receiving a Wells Notice last year.

This update was shared on Immutable’s website on March 26.

“We are pleased to report that the SEC has formally ended its investigation into Immutable, the IMX Ecosystem Foundation, and our CEO, with no enforcement action to follow,” the statement read.

The company also expressed support for the move towards clearer regulatory frameworks, emphasizing that “constructive regulation provides certainty.”

Co-founder Robbie Ferguson described this as an “enormous win for Web3 gaming.”
