Changpeng Zhao, CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Binance, has just announced via Twitter that analytical recourse CoinMarketCap is launching a list of countries where cryptocurrencies as recognized as legal tender, and as a result, can be used by users to pay for goods and services.
I heard @CoinMarketCap will start to rank countries that accept #crypto as legal tender. 👍
CoinMarketCap was acquired by Binance in April last year, which means that CZ’s announcement is binding.
Changpeng Zhao has not disclosed any more details on the upcoming feature. So we do not know when it will be launched, what countries it will include, etc.
