Bitpanda, an investment platform with headquarters in Vienna, has just announced it has completed a Series C fundraising in which it has raised $263 million. After this fund raising, the company’s valuation has increased to $4.1 billion, The Block has learned.

Some of the participants in the round include Valar Ventures, which led the investment, as well as hedge fund Alan Howard and REDO Ventures.

We should remember the company attracted $170 million 5 months ago in its Series B fundraising and $52 million in September last year (Series A round).

Eric Demuth, co-founder and CEO of the Austrian company, said:

“We wouldn’t be here today without the efforts of our talented team members who are constantly ‘rolling up their sleeves’ to make things happen. We’re grateful to share our journey with these incredible people — and that’s why a key area of focus for us is to keep strengthening our team by bringing onboard world-class talent.”
