Sweet, a New York-based highly scalable, consumer-friendly and environmentally conscious non-fungible token (NFT) platform, has recently announced that it has added support for Tezos, a leading energy-efficient Proof of Stake blockchain network, to the Sweet NFT platform.

To celebrate the integration, the first batch of NFTs to be launched on the platform include an extensive and highly-gamified McLaren Racing Collective NFT fan experience. After the launch takes place, McLaren Racing fans will be able to collect unique McLaren F1 car parts on the Sweet NFT platform to build their own NFT McLaren F1 cars. It is worth mentioning that each part will have its own scarcity and there will only be enough parts available for 35 complete NFT cars to be assembled.

Sweet, which is focused on allowing brands to offer digital collectibles to their audiences, is expanding the reach of its ecosystem with the integration of the Tezos blockchain. Adding support for Tezos involves the integration of an energy-efficient, scalable blockchain network.

Once the McLaren NFTs are rolled out on the platform, racing car fans will be able to collect, create and sell Tezos NFTs on Sweet in a very easy way. Users interested in reserving a complimentary McLaren Racing NFT and join in the experience must visit McLarenRacingCollective.com before October 24.

The first batch of collectible parts (left wing mirror, right wing mirror, fr wheel and fl wheel) will be released on Sunday, October 24 during the US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.

Tom Mizzone, CEO of Sweet, said:

“McLaren Racing is revolutionizing the digital collectibles space by providing fans with unprecedented views of the MCL35M car parts as true 3D NFTs that can be spun around, fidgeted with, and viewed from all angles. Additionally McLaren Racing has gamified the entire collectors experience as their fans race to collect all the individual 3D car components to unlock the interactive 3D MCL35M Formula One car and access unique fan experiences.

We built the entire McLaren Racing Collective on Tezos for its ecofriendliness, and its compatibility with broad scale use cases and applications for NFTs.  Tezos allows us to continue to prioritize and maintain a seamless, user-friendly digital collecting experience. We expect to see a large move into Tezos NFTs across many IP holder verticals and marketplaces.”

McLaren is not the only partner of Sweet. For example, the National Hockey League, the National Basketball Association, Burger King, Estee Lauder Corporation, Dave & Buster’s, Keb Mo, Lil Pump and Pentatonix are already cooperating with the platform. In addition, new associations will be announced in the coming weeks.
