American ex-broker Jordan Belfort, known as “The Wolf of Wall Street,” has said in a conversation with The Sun the meme cryptos Shiba Inu and Dogecoin are “useless and worthless.”

In his opinion, the creators of these projects use an unregulated market and should go to jail. He has warned investors not to buy these assets. Belfort has said:

“I’m a fan of blockchain but there’s a lot of nonsense out there, a lot of s**t coins which serve no purpose and are only there to separate people from their money.”

He has also expressed confidence that regulation would benefit cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. The former broker expressed a similar view in July. He has concluded:

“My guess is that someone will end up getting indicted for this stuff. The sooner governments step in the better it is for crypto.”

Former NSA and CIA officer Edward Snowden has previously urged his Twitter followers to refrain from buying Shiba Inu. He later explained he doesn’t like these tokens because of his bad sense of humor.
