Instagram Will Implement NFTs Soon

Meta (formerly known as Facebook) CEO Mark Zuckerberg has recently announced that the company plans to integrate non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in Instagram in the near future. This means that users’ assumptions have been confirmed directly by Mark Zuckerberg.

He has made this statement while speaking at the South by Southwest conference dedicated to innovative technologies. He said:

“Our team is actively working on introducing NFTs into the Instagram functionality. I hope that the minting of non-fungible tokens will become available in a couple of months.”

Whereas there is no set date for when the “new features” will be available to users, Zuckerberg has promised to make every effort to fulfill the promise in the shortest possible time.

In this context, it is worth noting that Zuckerberg’s statement has already been criticized by some analysts, who have reminded that all of his digital asset projects tend to fail.
