Mark Karpeles, the former head of the bankrupt crypto exchange Mt.Gox, has said it plans to launch UNGOX, a crypto rating agency, and to distribute non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

According to him, the MtGox NFT will only be available to clients of the hacked platform.

UNGOX is expected to launch in Q3 2022. The agency will assign and maintain ratings for crypto exchanges and related organizations. The assessment will be based on Mark Karpeles’ experience in managing Mt.Gox as well as a patented algorithm.

The MtGox NFT supply is expected to be 1,066,097 tokens, the same number of users that the exchange Mt.Gox when it crashed in early 2014.

To issue an NFT, users will need to confirm their account on the exchange using the mtgoxnft.net resource and provide the necessary information.
