Crypto Wallet Maker OneKey Attracts $20M

OneKey, a Hong Kong-based open source hardware wallet maker, has recently completed a $20 million Series A funding round led by Dragonfly and Ribbit Capital.

According to the press release shared by the company, other participants in the funding include Coinbase Ventures, Framework Ventures, Sky9 Capital, Folius Ventures, Ethereal Ventures, Santiago Santos, Feng Liu and a number of other unnamed business angels.

The company has also raised an undisclosed “small amount” from IOSG Ventures.

According to the startup’s developer Yishi Wang:

“Today, OneKey is the only open source hardware wallet in the world with a certified secure chip.”

According to him, the company’s devices were ordered by employees of the competitor Ledger, as well as companies like Meta, Amber, Alchemy, Infura, Cobo, imToken. The amount of assets held is “billions of dollars.”
