Fidelity Raises $5M to its Ethereum Index Fund

The Ethereum Index Fund, which was launched by the investment giant Fidelity Investments, has raised $5 million, since September 26.

According to the document filed with the SEC, the minimum investment in the structure is $50,000. The tool is available to accredited investors.

According to CoinDesk sources, the fund monitors the dynamics of the Fidelity Ethereum Index PR, buying directly ETH. It became the second after the Wise Origin Bitcoin Index Fund launched in 2020.

According to the company:

“As the cryptocurrency market grows, Fidelity recognizes the need for a diverse set of products and solutions. We continue to see customer demand for access to digital assets outside of bitcoin.”

The company currently offers several crypto ETFs and institutional-focused crypto custodial and trading services.
