El Salvador Launches a National Bitcoin Office

El Salvador’s government has recently opened the National Bitcoin Office, which has been created to oversee all local projects related to BTC.

According to a LinkedIn post, the body will be in touch with the media, international Bitcoin companies and those wishing to invest in El Salvador or meet with the country’s president Nayib Bukele on the integration of BTC.

The purpose of the new department is to develop, analyze, plan and coordinate programs and projects related to bitcoin for the economic development of the country.

From now on, all government agencies must assist the National Bitcoin Office in the performance of its functions.
