Car Maker Nissan Registers Web3-related Trademarks

Nissan has registered four Web3-related trademarks in the US, which apply to the brands Infiniti, Nismo and Nissan.

These trademarks are related to virtual clothing and cars, a digital store, an NFT marketplace, and a metaverse.

The automaker has also announced a three-month “demonstration experiment” of the Nissan Hype Lab virtual store.

Other organizations that have also filed trademarks in the NFT and metaverse segment include Mascotte Holdings, Meta, Crocs, Walmart, Formula 1 associated with the famous rapper Kanye West, and Fidelity Investments.
