Crypto Miner Riot Platforms Demands $26M from Mining Firm Rhodium

Riot Platforms has filed a lawsuit against Rhodium Enterprises for over $26 million in repayment of debt and reimbursement of “reasonable legal fees and other costs” for hosting and maintenance services provided by a Whinstone subsidiary.

Riot has also asked for the termination of the hosting contract, and Rhodium must respond to the complaint by May 30, 2023.

Additionally, SBI Crypto has filed a lawsuit against Whinstone, requesting $15 million in lost profits and $16 million in lost equipment, legal and other costs, plus interest.

Furthermore, GMO Gamecenter USA has filed a complaint against Whinstone in New York State Supreme Court, demanding more than $50 million in lost income and savings.
