A Whale Sells $2.3M of BNB Tokens

A whale investor has made an exchange of 10,000 BNB, valued at approximately $2.3 million, for USDT at a rate of $230 after two years of dormancy.

Data from Lookonchain shows that two years ago the investor managed to acquire 110,000 BNB (~$47.5 million) on trades with the low-liquid SafeMoon token.

The whale only paid 10 BNB, valued at $2,400 at the time of purchase, for 10 trillion coins. Ultimately, they were able to sell the BNB for its peak value and had their profits converted back into BNB.

Upon transferring 25,000 BNB to the wallet where they conducted the recent exchange, the investor was left with 15,000 BNB – approximately $3.5 million in today’s terms.

This exchange comes at a time when the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is in courts with Binance.
