Crypto Funds See Inflows fox 11th Consecutive Week
The total inflow into cryptocurrency investment products between December 2 and December 8 was reported to be $42.8 million, according to a statement from CoinShares.
This amount is significantly lower than the previous reporting period, which saw $176.3 million in inflows. However, it is important to note that in the past six weeks, inflows have consistently been in the triple digits.
Analysts have observed a renewed interest in products that allow shorting, potentially due to the recent surge in digital asset prices.
As a result, there was an $8.6 million inflow into similar instruments based on the first cryptocurrency. Investors also contributed $19.8 million to traditional Bitcoin funds.
This brings the total inflow into these funds to over $1.7 billion since the beginning of the year.
