ImmuneFi reported in November that hackers had stolen a total of $343.038 million in digital currency through various hacks and fraudulent activities.

A recent study by TRM Labs revealed that the total amount stolen by hackers in 2023 was $1.7 billion, a significant decrease from the previous year.

The report also highlighted that the improved security measures and stronger involvement of law enforcement agencies have contributed to a decrease in the scale of crypto wallet hacks.

According to the authors, ten major cyber attacks accounted for 70% of the stolen amount, including high-profile hacks on DeFi protocols like Euler Finance and the Poloniex exchange, which resulted in a loss of $100 million.
