Institutional Investors Put $1.6B into Crypto Funds Year to Date: CoinShares

According to CoinShares, US-based crypto ETFs have attracted over 95,297 Bitcoin since January 11, 2024. The largest holders of this cryptocurrency are BlackRock and Fidelity ETFs.

In the past week, total investments in Bitcoin funds reached $708 million, with the majority of the capital going towards the first digital currency.

CoinShares reports that since the start of 2024, investments in these products have reached $1.6 billion. The total value of digital assets managed by crypto funds is currently at $53 billion. However, the volume of transactions in exchange-traded products (ETPs) has decreased to $8.2 billion.

The top-performing digital asset in terms of investment is Solana, with over $13 million invested in funds that focus on this cryptocurrency in just one week.

Funds focused on Ether (ETH) and Avalanche (AVAX) also saw inflows, while those investing in Litecoin (LTC), Cardano (ADA), and XRP experienced outflows of $0.3 million, $0.6 million, and $0.1 million, respectively.
