The CLARITY Act, a landmark crypto market structure bill, has cleared major hurdles in Congress after winning approval from both the House Financial Services (32-19) and Agriculture (47-6) Committees.

Introduced by Rep. French Hill in May, the legislation aims to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital assets.

Bryan Steil, the House crypto subcommittee chair, called the bipartisan support a “big step forward” for US leadership in blockchain innovation.

Hill emphasized that the bill would bring fairness and functionality to crypto markets, enabling broader adoption of tokenized payments and Web3 financial services.
