Bitwise has taken a key step toward launching a spot Chainlink (LINK) ETF, filing a preliminary S-1 with the SEC. The proposed fund aims to directly track the price of LINK, the token powering the Chainlink oracle network.

The filing designates Coinbase Custody as the custodian and Coinbase as the prime execution agent. Notably, the ETF will not stake its LINK holdings, opting for pure price exposure instead of yield generation.

This move signals a continued industry push for regulated, single-asset crypto investment products following the landmark approval of Bitcoin ETFs.
