Japan’s Metaplanet has aggressively expanded its Bitcoin treasury, purchasing an additional 1,009 BTC for $112 million.

This massive buy brings its total holdings to 20,000 BTC, catapulting it to the world’s 6th largest public corporate holder.

The move comes just months after hitting 10,000 BTC, showcasing a rapid acceleration toward its new, ambitious goal of 30,000 BTC by year-end.
