Coinbase Debuts Futures for “Mag7 + Crypto” Index

Coinbase is expanding its US derivatives platform with a new futures product tied to an index of top tech stocks and crypto ETFs.

The “Mag7 + Crypto Equity Index Futures” offers equal-weight exposure to 10 components: Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Nvidia, Meta, Tesla, Coinbase itself, and BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs.

The move aims to boost trading activity amid declining spot volumes.
