Pakistan Opens Its Doors: A Gateway to 40 Million Crypto Users for Licensed Firms

Global cryptocurrency companies are being offered access to a massive new market: Pakistan.
The country’s crypto regulator, PVARA, is now inviting licensed international firms to apply for operational licenses to serve Pakistan’s burgeoning population of 40 million digital asset users.
To qualify, firms must already be regulated in a major jurisdiction and be prepared to meet strict capital, security, and compliance standards.
A key requirement is that all services must comply with Sharia law, guided by a dedicated committee. This move formalizes Pakistan’s crypto ecosystem and represents a significant opportunity for established players to expand their reach into a key South Asian market.
