Coinbase App Now Offers Direct DEX Access for US Users

Coinbase is opening the gates to early-stage crypto projects for its US users.

The exchange announced that DEX trading is now live within its main app, allowing customers to “explore millions of assets, moments after they launch.”

This integration with the Base network, powered by 1inch and 0x, lets users trade tokens long before they go through Coinbase’s formal listing process, offering a new level of access to the on-chain ecosystem directly from a trusted platform.

This new on-chain capability arrives as Coinbase looks to stimulate user engagement after reporting a significant drop in trading volume last quarter, a trend that has pressured the exchange’s primary revenue source.
