Uniswap’s “Platform-Agnostic” Architecture Paves Way for Solana Integration

Uniswap‘s web app now supports Solana, a major technical milestone achieved not by building a one-off integration, but by leveraging a new, “platform-agnostic” architectural framework.

This design allows the decentralized exchange giant to seamlessly incorporate Solana-based wallets and tokens alongside existing Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains.

The integration routes trades through Jupiter’s aggregator, utilizing its new Ultra API. An Uniswap engineer emphasized that the team built reusable “architect layers,” signaling that this modular approach could simplify future expansions to other non-EVM blockchains, fundamentally broadening Uniswap’s interoperability.
