ATM Maker Hyosung Will Add Support for Bitcoin in US

South Korean ATM maker Hyosung, which has 175,000 ATMs in the US, has announced it plans to add DigitalMint services to its ATMs, allowing users to Buy Bitcoin and Litecoin.

According to the statement:

“An ATM operator with our software platform can download the DigitalMint application, creating new revenue streams.”

Hyosang has signed a corresponding agreement with the crypto payment provider of the same name, which has developed an API that allows users to integrate the ability to purchase digital assets into POS terminals and ATMs.

The decision to connect such a service will be made by each operator individually.
