ConsenSys has recently announced it will reduce the storage period of collected IP-identifiers and wallet addresses to 7 days.

The developer of the popular app announced on November 24 an update to its privacy policy, which prompted a flurry of criticism from the community. Users feared their privacy would be affected and noted risks of identifying individuals for law enforcement actions.

The company said it made the decision to improve the services it provides, as well as to ensure security, fraud protection and compliance with regulatory requirements.
