Polygon Co-founder to Launch Project Based on Avail Protocol

Anurag Arjun, Chief Product Officer of Polygon Labs, has decided to step down and create a separate project based on the Avail scaling solution.

The platform launched a testnet in 2022 with the initiative to act as a data accessibility layer for zero-knowledge evidence-based solutions.

The company has stated that this separation will evolve into a decentralized organization and the first priority is to ensure a smooth transition from Polygon.

To this end, Arjun will create a non-profit Avail Foundation which will eventually be taken over by the community, and part of the development team will move to the new organization.

Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon, has stated that he has a great relationship with Arjun and might invest in the new venture.
