Ripple has no current plans for an initial public offering, according to President Monica Long. In a recent interview, she emphasized the company’s robust financial health and its strategic preference to expand as a private entity through targeted investments and product development.

Long clarified the company’s stance in a Tuesday discussion with Bloomberg. “Often the strategy driving an IPO is to get access to the investors and the liquidity of the public markets,” she said. “We’re in a really healthy position to continue to fund and invest in our company’s growth without going public.”

Her comments arrive several months after Ripple secured $500 million in a late-2025 funding round that established a $40 billion valuation. The round saw participation from major institutional investors like Fortress Investment Group and Citadel Securities.

Regarding the detailed terms of that fundraising, which are understood to include certain investor safeguards, Long described the overall arrangement as advantageous for Ripple. She did not provide specifics on whether those protective clauses were instrumental in attracting investors or justifying the reported valuation.
