Franklin Templeton proposes two ETFs with Bitcoin exposure from dividends

Franklin Templeton has submitted registration documents to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for two ETFs that would invest in US stocks and use dividend income to gain Bitcoin exposure.
The 22 October filing lists the Franklin US Equity Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF and Franklin US Innovation Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF, with proposed Nasdaq tickers FBEQ and FIBT.
The funds would allocate 5% of their portfolios to Bitcoin-linked investments, according to ETF analyst Nate Geraci. Rather than purchasing Bitcoin directly, investors would gain exposure through funds combining equity holdings with Bitcoin investments.
Franklin Templeton has yet to announce when either ETF might launch.
