Arizona Bitcoin Bill Gets Second Chance After Senate Reversal

Arizona’s push to adopt Bitcoin reserves is back on track after the Senate voted Thursday to reconsider HB 2324, a bill that would create a state-managed digital asset fund.
The 16-14 vote revives legislation that had been narrowly defeated in the House last month.
The Republican-backed bill saw near-unanimous GOP support, with only one dissenting Republican. If the House now approves it, Arizona could become one of the first states to officially hold forfeited crypto in a dedicated treasury fund.
With Republicans holding a 33-27 majority in the House, the bill has a strong chance of advancing to Governor Hobbs—though her stance on crypto remains uncertain.
