Musk’s New Political Party Is All-In on Bitcoin

Elon Musk just dropped a bombshell—his freshly minted America Party will officially accept Bitcoin. When asked on X if his party would embrace BTC, Musk fired back: “Fiat is hopeless, so yes.” Classic Musk.

This shouldn’t come as a shock—Tesla was one of the first big players to bet big on Bitcoin, scooping up $1.5 billion worth in 2021. Today, Tesla still sits on a stash of 11,509 BTC (around $1.26B), making it one of the top corporate holders.

Jan3’s Samson Mow thinks this move could give Musk an edge over Trump in their ongoing rivalry. He even called for Tesla to bring back Bitcoin payments and for SpaceX to offer BTC discounts.

Oh, and remember when Musk said Bitcoin wouldn’t work on Mars? He’s since backtracked, floating the idea of a Mars-specific Lightning Network. Never a dull moment with Musk.
