Kanye West (Ye) has announced the launch of “Yeezy Money” (YZY), a new cryptocurrency on the Solana blockchain.

The announcement was made via a post on his X account on Wednesday, which included a link to a dedicated website for buying and selling the token.

According to analytics platform GMGN.Ai, the token rapidly reached a market capitalization of approximately $2 billion. Despite the ambitious claims of creating a “new economy,” the project’s website includes a disclaimer stating YZY is not intended as an investment opportunity.
