Analysts: Solana ETFs Could Launch in ‘Days or Weeks’ After Filing Frenzy

The launch of the first US spot Solana ETFs is imminent, according to analysts who point to a cluster of amended filings from major asset managers.
Firms like Fidelity, Bitwise, and Grayscale have all recently updated their applications to include staking provisions, a sign of productive talks with regulators.
“This is positive back and forth between these issuers and the SEC,” said Bloomberg’s James Seyffart, who previously flagged similar activity ahead of Ethereum ETF approvals.
He now predicts, “Solana ETFs likely coming to an exchange near you in coming days/weeks.” The key differentiator for these funds is their plan to stake the underlying SOL, providing a yield component not available in Bitcoin ETFs.
