Bitget has confirmed a security breach involving approximately $351.6 million in assets and temporarily suspended withdrawals while investigating.

The exchange said its security systems detected unauthorised transfers from several hot wallets at 18:31 UTC on Thursday. CEO Gracy Chen said the breach was contained to parts of Bitget’s hot and warm wallets, while cold wallets remained secure.

Affected assets included Ether, XRP, USDt, USDC, Avalanche, BNB and USDT0. Ethereum accounted for most of the observed stolen funds, with activity also detected on the XRP Ledger, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain and Arbitrum.
