Cryptocurrency Exchanges Volume Hits A New Record

The volume of cryptocurrency exchanges has reached a new all-time high this month, according to The Block.

The month of May has been specially good for crypto trading platforms, whose volume has crossed the $2T mark for the first time ever.

On top of that, May is the fourth month in a row in which the volume of cryptocurrency exchanges has exceeded $1 trillion, which shows how active crypto traders have been recently amid the high volatility the market is experiencing.

Binance is the largest contributor to the total volume of crypto-to-crypto exchanges with $1.5 trillion in May, while Coinbase is the leader in fiat-to-crypto trading platforms with $198 billion.
