Hassan has urged the country’s central bank to study digital assets due to their increasing impact on global finance. According to her, “we have witnessed the emergence of a new journey through the Internet.”

She has regretted that Tanzania as well as the whole region seem to be neglecting crypto adoption and development:

“Throughout the region, including Tanzania, they have not accepted or started using these routes.”

The president of the country has urged the central bank to start studying digital assets so that it is ready for the upcoming changes they will bring.
