Liquidity in DeFi Ecosystem Cronos Approaches $2.5 Billion

The value of funds locked (TVL) in the Cronos ecosystem has reached $2.46 billion, DeFi Llama reports.

Over the past week, the indicators of the AMM-exchange MM Finance and the yield aggregator MM Optimizer have grown most actively – their TVL gains amounted to 53% and 63%, respectively.

Cronos is an EVM-compatible sidechain that runs parallel to the Crypto.org network and is able to interact with the Cosmos ecosystem. The platform is positioned as a highly scalable network for DeFi, NFTs and metaverses.

The beta version of Cronos was launched on November 8.

In early January, the volume of liquidity of the DeFi platform Osmosis based on Cosmos exceeded $1 billion.
