Amount of Funds on the Ethereum 2.0 Deposit Contract Exceeds 10 Million ETH

The volume of funds blocked on the Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract has exceeded 10 million ETH, which is equivalent to 8.4% of the total supply of the second largest crypto by capitalization, data from Etherscan shows.

The deposit contract is the largest address in the ecosystem. In second place with a balance of 7.14 million ETH is the Wrapped Ethereum contract, while in third place is one of the wallets of the Kraken platform (2.11 million ETH).

In March, the number of Ethereum 2.0 validators has exceeded 310,000. Since the beginning of 2022, their number has grown by almost 13%.

For the past six months, the validator engagement rate has fluctuated between 96.16% and 99.73%. This is an indicator that reflects the percentage of blocks participating in the validation process.
