Crypto Lending Platform BlockFi Unveils Savings Accounts for Accredited Investors

Crypto lending platform BlockFi has resumed providing services related to Yield savings accounts to US residents.

The service covers 15 different crypto assets and is available to accredited investors. Representatives of the firm have called interest rates “competitive.”

According to the company:

“Any offering or sale of BlockFi Yield to accredited investors will be made pursuant to an exemption from registration requirements under the Securities Act of 1933.”

The US authorities ordered at the beginning of the year BlockFi to pay fines of $ 100 million. As part of the agreement, the company suspended the provision of services related to BIA accounts to US residents.

In June, the company announced a 20% reduction in staff.
