Car Maker Porsche Will Launch its Own NFT Collection

Car manufacturer Porsche has announced it intends to launch its own collection of NFTs in January.

The 7,500-NFT series is based on the classic model of the automaker – Porsche 911. According to the company, the initiative is “the fusion of the physical and digital worlds.”

The first Porsche NFT collection has been created by Hamburg-based designer and 3D artist Patrick Vogel.

The initiative will mark the transition of the automaker into the Web3 sphere. Porsche is looking to integrate new technology into its business and is considering moving its supply chain to blockchain.

The company is also exploring sustainability issues through a Web3 lens.
