US State of Arizona Wants to Legalize Bitcoin as a Means of Payment

Wendy Rogers, a member of the Arizona Senate, has once again made a proposal to approve Bitcoin as legal tender in the state. He has said on Twitter:

“Breaking: #Bitcoin is the best performing asset in the world this year according to data from Goldman Sachs.”

She has cited data from Goldman Sachs that BTC is “the most profitable asset in the world this year.” According to her, together with colleagues, she has proposed a number of bills, one of which is aimed at the approval of Bitcoin as a means of payment in the state.

If the law was eventually passed, the crypto would receive the same status as the US dollar.
