Montenegro’s Authorities Charge Do Kwon

Montenegrin authorities have charged Do Kwon, co-founder and CEO of Terraform Labs (TFL), with forgery.

Kwon was detained at a flight to Dubai with an accomplice who was also charged with a similar offence. The Police found counterfeit passports from Costa Rica and Belgium in their luggage.

A hearing for the case has been set for Friday, March 24, and the court representative said that the issue of extradition may be considered at the meeting without specifying the country of origin.

South Korean prosecutors are now taking steps to bring back Kwon, according to the supervisory agency’s press service.
