The yearly volatility of Bitcoin has dropped from its all-time average of 71% to 32% on the 30D-MA, representing a far more stable investment compared to popular stocks like Meta and Amazon, with 44% and 34% volatility respectively.

This summer is reportedly the “calmest” since 2020 in contrast to the sharp price fluctuations seen last year with the crash of Terra and Three Arrows Capital, however Bitcoin still remains more volatile than gold and Apple stocks.

Laura Vidiella, Vice President of LedgerPrime, expressed optimism that the market is subject to sudden price fluctuations in the future.

Former CEO of BitMex, Arthur Hayes also predicted renewals of BTC’s historical highs by 2024.

JPMorgan analysts, meanwhile, have expected that the upcoming halving will lead to the price of digital gold reaching $40,000.
