Binance Charity, the philanthropic arm of cryptocurrency exchange Binance, is donating BNB tokens worth up to $500,000 to Libyan users in aid of their flood recovery.

To be eligible, users must pass the standard verification process before September 11 in order to receive $100.

For those who confirm their residence from September 12 to September 30, the reward will be $25.

Active users located outside the affected disaster zone receive a payment of $10.

Distribution of payments began on September 13 with the platform estimating assistance for up to 13,000 users.

Crypto transfers, due to their fast, low-cost, borderless and transparent qualities, have proven to be an effective resource for providing financial relief to victims of natural disasters.

Therefore, a public address has been set up for anyone who wishes to donate in the form of Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, USDT, USDC or BUSD.

All donations will be passed on to an officially recognized public organization devoted to helping those affected.
