Meta to Expand its Horizon Worlds Metaverse to Mobile Devices

Meta has announced the opening of early access to the first world of the Horizon Worlds metaverse beyond VR headsets.

I will be available on mobile devices, computers, and the Meta Quest Android app. An iOS version of this app is to be released in the upcoming weeks, as well as a web version.

All versions will be completely free and open to anyone over the age of 13, with the app currently only available in Canada, France, Iceland, Ireland, Spain, the UK, and the US.

This new access is said to provide more entry points into the metaverse, all of which will feature the same security measures as those head by Quest users.

Meta has stated that they will look at user feedback and experience to continue expanding early access to the metaverse in the mobile and web versions.
