MicroStrategy Purchases $2 Billion in Bitcoin

On November 11, MicroStrategy announced that it had purchased 27,200 Bitcoin using $2.03 billion in cash.

These coins were bought between October 31 and November 10 at an average price of $74,463 per BTC, including fees and expenses.

This latest purchase brings MicroStrategy’s total Bitcoin holdings to 279,420 BTC, equivalent to around $23 billion based on current market prices.

The company used funds from selling its shares to make the purchases, with sales agreements made on August 1 and October 30. As of November 10, MicroStrategy had sold 7.8 million shares for approximately $2 billion.
