Hong Kong’s Largest Digital Bank Launches Retail Crypto Trading
ZA Bank has now expanded its services to include direct cryptocurrency trading for its retail users. It is the first bank in Asia to offer this service, according to the bank’s press release.
The feature is available through the ZA Bank app, allowing for seamless trading of top cryptocurrencies in HKD and USD without the need to switch between apps or platforms.
The bank has partnered with Hong Kong-based crypto exchange HashKey, utilizing their institutional-grade service, HashKey Pro, which offers API trading, block trade services, and enterprise-level account structure and permission management.
Livio Weng, the CEO of HashKey, expressed excitement for the future collaborations with ZA Bank in driving the development of the Web3 ecosystem and providing more diverse financial services to users. Currently, there are only three licensed cryptocurrency exchanges in Hong Kong, and HashKey is one of them along with OSL and HKVAX.
