Robinhood is quietly developing a blockchain network to facilitate tokenized US securities trading for European retail investors, Bloomberg reported.

By leveraging tokenization (the digitization of stocks and other assets), the platform could offer faster settlements, lower fees, and broader access compared to traditional brokerage systems.

Notably, layer-2 solution Arbitrum and Solana are both reportedly in talks to power the infrastructure.

This aligns with growing industry interest in RWA (real-world asset) tokenization, which major financial institutions are increasingly exploring for its efficiency benefits.
