Deutsche Bank is joining the crypto custody race, with plans to debut its service in 2026, Bloomberg reported.

The bank is leveraging partnerships with Bitpanda, a top European crypto exchange, and Taurus, a Swiss-based digital asset firm, to build the infrastructure.

This strategic move aligns with broader institutional adoption of digital assets, driven by regulatory clarity in Europe (thanks to MiCA) and a more favorable US stance under the Trump administration.

Bitpanda, which serves millions of customers in Germany, and Taurus, which supports over 25 institutional clients, will play key roles in Deutsche Bank’s crypto ambitions.
