Samsung plans to add USDC transfers to Samsung Wallet for eligible Galaxy users in the US, allowing them to send stablecoins across borders without using a separate crypto app.

The feature is expected to roll out in the last week of October across about 82 million US Galaxy devices. Users will be able to send USDC to compatible external wallets, with Solana infrastructure supporting the transfers.

Samsung Wallet will also include fiat on- and off-ramps, while stablecoin custody will be provided through Bastion, a licensed US custodian. Samsung said users will not need to manage private keys themselves.
