VanEck has introduced a new ETF that combines stocks, bonds, gold and other real assets with a small Bitcoin allocation.
The Wealth Builder ETF (WBMO), listed on the NYSE, invests in VanEck and third-party funds and targets a 2% allocation to Bitcoin, with a permitted range of 1% to 5%. It accesses Bitcoin through a spot exchange-traded product rather than holding it directly.
The launch follows VanEck’s March partnership with retirement platform Basic Capital to offer selected digital asset products through US employer-sponsored 401(k) plans. VanEck managed around $244.1 billion in assets as of 30 September.
